Biography
Aristippus was an ancient Greek philosopher and founder of the Cyrenaic school. Although he was a pupil of Socrates, he adopted a different philosophical outlook, teaching "ethical hedonism" i.e. that good life rests upon seeking pleasure by circumstances to oneself and by maintaining proper control over both adversity and prosperity.
